Kraft Paper Pigeons

Raising Funds for Pigeon Rescue & Adoption

The kraft paper pigeons started when I got frustrated with another project. I was feeling too tight, so I roughed out a pigeon on the heavy brown paper that usually covers my art table. That’s where I test or mix paint colors, make random marks, glue down leftover bits of paper, and generally let myself make a happy mess. I gave that first scribbled bird (Cantaloupe, pictured below) as a gift, and then I found that I wanted to keep using my desktop playground to make pigeon portraits. Contact me with questions or if you want to bring one of these birds home to live with you. I donate a portion of sales to pigeon rescue organizations, including Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions & Moose’s Flock.
