Raising Funds for Palomacy Pigeon and Dove Adoptions & Avian Underdogs Rescue Association
A series of six rescued feral pigeons drawn with pencil on distressed post-it notes

So many people think urban pigeons are “trash birds.” Mo, centered in this series as a baby and an adult, was literally thrown away when a pest control company hurled him from a rooftop in Los Angeles, still in his nest. His sibling perished, but a determined rescuer caught baby Mo in her outstretched hands before he hit the ground. Not to be tossed aside like stained and crumpled paper, our feral pigeon neighbors are full of personality, feeling, and longing for life. These five were rescued from harsh situations and have been loved.

The drawings are graphite on distressed white 3″ x 3″ post-it notes, mounted on 3/4″ cradled wood panels with sawtooth hangers. Available as a series of 6 for $330. Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions & Avian Underdogs Rescue Association will each receive 1/3 of the proceeds. Contact me with interest or questions.

To celebrate launching this website, I’m giving away a fine art print of this series to one of the first 50 people to sign up for my occasional newsletter.
