A portion of proceeds from all pigeon art goes to Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions.

Begin Again (Puff Berry)

22.5 x 27.5 inches; acrylic, mixed paper, pencil, and crayon on a scrap wood board with sides and back finished, ready to hang

Puff is a soulful bird on a long journey. A “dove release” homing pigeon, she was rescued with severe injuries after being let go as part of someone’s misguided celebration. Puff receives daily loving care and attention to help her get stronger while learning to trust again. Here, in her portrait, this brave traveler has an almost camouflaged pocket holding a bus ticket. In the background, there’s a bit of text that says, “Help Yourself With New Things.”

[SOLD]

A percentage of proceeds benefits Palomacy Pigeon and Dove Adoptions.
